Detached three-bay two-storey over basement house, built 1880, having gabled breakfront with single-bay single-storey porches to east and west elevations. Gabled breakfront to rear (south) elevation. Pitched slate roof having overhanging eaves and rendered chimneystacks. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls. Square-headed openings to first floor with render label mouldings and six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed openings to ground floor with render label mouldings and six-over-nine pane timber sliding sash windows and painted sills throughout. Square-headed window openings to breakfront, ground and second floors having render label mouldings, now blocked up. Square-headed tripartite opening to rear having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows with flanking two-over-three pane margin sash windows. Porches comprising recessed panel over square-headed door openings having render cornice and flanking Doric-style pilasters. Timber panelled door to west porch. East porch door now blocked up. Yard to east, basement level having rubble sandstone walls and barrel-vaulted store rooms.
