Detached two-pile three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1850, rear block being recessed slightly from each end and presenting four-bay elevation to rear. Single-bay side elevations to both blocks. Box-bay window to west gable of front block. Hipped slate roofs to both blocks, rear block having separate roofs to pairs of bays. Cast-iron rainwater goods and rendered chimneystacks. Gabled dormer window to rear elevation.moulded cornice to flat roof of box-bay window. Roughcast rendered walls with string courses at impost and sill levels. Square-headed openings with render surrounds, those to west half of rear block also having cornices. Timber sliding sash windows throughout, two-over-two pane except for box-bay which has tripartite one-over-one pane lights. House is set in mature south-facing gardens. High rubble limestone walls to rear, north uphill, side of house with glasshouse attached to southern side. Outbuilding to east, having hipped slate roof and rubble limestone walls. Rendered boundary walls and having rendered piers with moulded details and supporting ornate double-leaf cast-iron gates. Four-bay single-storey gate lodge to west of gates.
