Terraced two-storey over basement house, built 1777, as part of scheme of almshouses, having four-bay ground floor and three-bay first floor. Westernmost bay formerly part of another house. Easternmost bay shared with neighbouring property and has blind window opening to first floor and round-headed red brick niche to ground floor with limestone keystone, imposts and sill. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, terracotta chimney pots and cast-iron rainwater goods. Rendered coursed limestone walls. Camber-headed window openings with timber sliding sash windows, six-over-six pane to first floor and basement and nine-over-six pane to ground floor, all having limestone sills and red brick block-and-start surrounds, and six-pane timber casement window to basement with limestone sill. Round-headed former doorway, now a window opening, having red brick block-and-start surround, six-over-six pane timber sliding sash window with fanlight and limestone sill with recessed brick infill below. Round-headed door opening with timber panelled door, spoked timber fanlight, red brick block-and-start surround and limestone step over area with rendered parapets having dressed limestone copings. Rendered boundary wall with limestone coping.
