Terraced two-bay two-storey over basement house, built 1777, comprising northern two bays of original house, southern bay being divided off. Built as part of scheme of almshouses. Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks, terracotta chimney pots, cast-iron rainwater goods and having carved limestone eaves course. Rendered coursed limestone walls with chamfered limestone quoins. Camber-headed window openings with timber sliding sash windows, six-over-six pane to first floor and nine-over-six pane to ground floor, with limestone sills and red brick block-and-start surrounds. Replacement window to basement. Round-headed door opening with carved limestone Gibbsian surround with triple keystone, replacement timber door, spoked timber fanlight and with limestone steps over basement area, with rendered parapets. Rendered boundary wall with dressed limestone coping and cast-iron railings, with ball finials.
