Saint Patrick's Catholic bhurch, built 1832-36, with pedimented Corinthian hexastyle portico on high base surmounted by cruciform tempietto upholding a rotunda encircled by figures; ashlar limestone facades having giant pilasters. Interior retained, including pews, floor covering and chancel decoration. Church designed by George. R. Paine, 1836.
