Three-bay four-storey gabled warehouse, c. 1840, with two-storey rear block; side block c. 1995; in use as art gallery, printmakers studios, offices and residential accommodation. Pitched roofs with rendered chimney stack and rooflights to the main block. Walls to main and rear blocks are coursed random limestone and sandstone, with limestone quoins to the front elevation. Hoist canopy to gable of front elevation. Window openings to main block are camber headed, door openings square headed. Camber headed loading doors to each floor level on front elevation. Plain render architraves to openings, window openings having cills and replacement timber casement windows. Glazed timber entrance doors. Square headed openings to rear block, window openings having cills and replacement timber casement windows. Modern corrugated metal clad block to side with square headed openings. Street frontage with central yard, facing onto river.
