Freestanding gable-fronted double-height Roman Catholic church, dated 1961, with canopy over entrance, nine-bay side elevations and single-bay single-storey sacristy to right. Pitched slate roof with deep eaves and cross finials. Coloured concrete brick walls with roughcast rendered central panel to entrance. Roughcast rendered side walls with coloured concrete block buttresses. Pointed arch leaded glass windows set in pairs to side elevations, triples flanking door opening, and with timber cross mullion and transom to opening over entrance. Timber matchboard doors. Retaining interior features. Concrete brick boundary wall with concrete copings. Rendered belfry. Graves of parish priests to site.
