Freestanding cruciform-plan Roman Catholic church, built c. 1865, comprising gable-fronted entrance with projecting porch, rose window and bellcote, three-bay side elevations, single-bay transepts and chancel to rear having two-bay single-storey sacristy. Pitched artificial slate roof with clay crestings, cross finials, concrete copings, cut-stone bellcote and cast-iron downpipe. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls with render quoins. Carved limestone rose window with hood moulding and stained glass. Round-headed door opening with raised render surround, timber matchboard door and fanlight. Lancet windows with leaded coloured glass. Retaining interior features. Rendered boundary walls with cast-iron double leaf gates. Wheel guards to corners.
