What is recorded here

Detached six-bay two-storey house, built c. 1750, with half-octagonal lower projection. Extended c. 1840, with single-bay two-storey gabled projecting bay and single-storey flat-roofed projecting bay to front. Seven-bay two-storey wing with single-storey canted bay windows to ground floor, added c. 1990, to accommodate use as hotel. Hipped and pitched artificial slate roofs with cut-stone and rendered chimneystacks. Flat roofs to various additions. Painted rubble stone walls to left hand side, rendered walls with quoins to right hand side. Timber casement and timber sliding sash windows with render label mouldings. Retaining interior features. Cut-stone piers, c. 1850, with cast-iron gates and railings.
