End-of-terrace seven-bay three-storey house, built c. 1775, in use as part of hotel complex since the end of the nineteenth century. Hipped slate roof with deep bracketed eaves over five-bays. Rendered walls with elaborate render details including decorated frieze and elaborate string courses. Timber sliding sash windows set within elaborate architraves having keystones. Segmental-arched ground floor window openings and round-headed openings to entrance doors with moulded architraves. Thought to be built on site of a gaol. Dungeons uncovered on site c. 1960.
