The mid 19th century projecting porch is flat-roofed. Stone steps rise to the panelled front door which has sidelights and an elliptical-headed radial fanlight. Windows are flat-headed with mainly six over six-timber sash frames. The hipped roof is finished with natural slate and cast-iron rainwater goods. To the rear there is a range of much altered outbuildings. The country house is set within a large flat garden.
