Detached two-bay one and a half-storey gate lodge, built c.1850. The gate lodge is constructed in fieldstone with brick block and start dressings. The replacement timber door is set within a flat-headed opening. Window openings are generally flat-headed with some to the first floor being half dormered. Timber top-hung frames are replacements. A blind opening adjacent to the front door has a semi-circular arch head. The pitched roof has natural slate covering and extruded aluminium rainwater goods. The gate lodge is set slightly back behind a stone wall close to the roadside.
