What is recorded here

Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1840. The façade is finished in painted roughcast whilst the gable-ended pitched roof is slated and the chimneystacks rendered. The windows are flat-headed with timber sash frames and painted stone sills. The entrance has a panelled timber door with decorative brackets to the jambs, and a semi-circular fanlight and moulded archivolt. Cast-iron rainwater goods. To the front is a small garden enclosed with a roughcast rendered wall with wrought-iron railings and gate. To the north gable there is a tall elliptical-headed carriage archway with brick voussoirs and c.1970s corrugated-iron double door.
