Detached three-bay (two-bay deep) two-storey over basement farmhouse, built 1830-6, on a T-shaped plan centred on single-bay two-storey gabled breakfront; three-bay full-height rear (east) elevation. Occupied, 1901; 1911. Hipped slate roof with clay ridge tiles, paired rendered central chimney stacks on cushion courses on rendered bases having corbelled stepped capping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on slightly overhanging timber boarded box eaves retaining cast-iron octagonal or ogee hoppers and downpipes. Part creeper- or ivy-covered fine roughcast walls on cut-granite chamfered cushion course on overgrown plinth with concealed cut- or hammered limestone flush quoins to corners. Square-headed central window opening in tripartite arrangement (breakfront) with cut-granite sill, timber mullions, and concealed dressings framing six-over-six timber sash window without horns having two-over-two sidelights. Elliptical-headed window opening in tripartite arrangement (first floor) with cut-granite sill, timber mullions, and concealed dressings framing six-over-six timber sash window without horns having two-over-two sidelights below fanlight. Square-headed window openings in segmental-headed recesses (ground floor) with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing six-over-six timber sash windows without horns. Square-headed window openings (first floor) with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing three-over-six timber sash windows without horns. Square-headed window openings to rear (east) elevation centred on square-headed window opening in tripartite arrangement (ground floor), cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing eight-over-eight (ground floor) or four-over-eight (first floor) timber sash windows without horns centred on twelve-over-eight timber sash window without horns having three-over-two sidelights. Interior including (ground floor): central hall with timber panelled concave reveals to door openings, and plasterwork cornice to ceiling; and carved timber surrounds to door openings to remainder framing timber panelled doors with carved timber surrounds to window openings framing timber panelled shutters on panelled risers. Set in unkempt landscaped grounds.
