Detached three-bay single-storey lobby entry farmhouse with half-dormer attic, extant 1840, on a T-shaped plan centred on single-bay single-storey lean-to windbreak; two-bay full-height rear (north) elevation. In [partial] ruins, 1902. Occupied, 1922. Now disused. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles off-centred on red brick Running bond chimney stack having concrete or rendered capping supporting terracotta pots, lichen-spotted concrete or rendered coping to gables, and no rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Rendered, ruled and lined (west) or limewashed roughcast (east) battered wall to front (south) elevation over coursed rubble stone construction with rough hewn granite flush quoins to corners. Square-headed central door opening with cut-granite step threshold, and concealed dressings including timber lintel framing timber boarded door. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings including rough hewn lintels framing two-over-two timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Interior including (ground floor): central lobby retaining "spy hole". Set in unkempt grounds perpendicular to lane with piers to perimeter having domed capping supporting flat iron gate.
