Detached five-bay single-storey constabulary barrack with half-dormer attic, occupied 1901, on a cruciform plan with single-bay full-height gabled projecting bays centred on single-bay full-height gabled projecting breakfront; single-bay (single-bay deep) full-height central return (east). Vacant, 1911. "Improved", 1914, to accommodate alternative use. Renovated, ----, to accommodate continued private residential use. Replacement pitched artificial slate roof on a cruciform plan with pitched (gabled) artificial slate roofs centred on pitched (gabled) artificial slate roof (breakfront), ridge tiles, paired rendered central chimney stacks having concrete capping supporting louvered terracotta pots, central rooflights to rear (east) elevation, perforated decorative timber bargeboards to gables with timber finials to apexes, and uPVC rainwater goods on box eaves. Part creeper- or ivy-covered rendered, ruled and lined walls. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings having chamfered reveals framing replacement casement windows. Set back from line of road in landscaped grounds with hedge boundary to perimeter.
