Detached three-bay single-storey gate lodge, extant 1902, on a rectangular plan with single-bay single-storey side elevations; three-bay single-storey rear (west) elevation. Hipped slate roof with pressed or rolled lead ridges, roughcast central chimney stack having red brick corbelled stepped capping supporting terracotta pot, and cast-iron rainwater goods on slightly overhanging eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Roughcast walls on rendered plinth with rusticated rendered quoins to corners. Ogee-headed central door opening with cut-granite step threshold, and doorcase with clustered colonettes framing replacement timber boarded door. Ogee-headed flanking window openings in bipartite arrangement with cut-granite sills, carved timber mullions, and concealed dressings framing timber casement windows having overlights. Set back from line of road at entrance to grounds of Raheenduff House.
