Detached two-bay two-storey house, extant 1840, on a square plan. In alternative use, 1901-72. Sold, 1976. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, chimney stacks not visible, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves retaining cast-iron octagonal or ogee hoppers and downpipe. Slate hung walls. Hipped segmental-headed door opening with timber mullions on cut-granite step threshold supporting timber transom, and concealed dressings framing timber panelled door having sidelights below overlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing two-over-two timber sash windows. Set back from road in landscaped grounds with rendered, ruled and lined piers to perimeter having lichen-spotted capping supporting looped wrought iron gate.
