Detached four-bay single-storey lobby entry thatched house with dormer attic, extant 1903, on a rectangular plan off-centred on single-bay single-storey flat-roofed windbreak. Reroofed, ----. Chicken wire-covered replacement wheat straw thatch roof with exposed hazel lattice stretchers to ridge having exposed scallops, red brick Running bond off-central chimney stack having stringcourse below capping supporting terracotta pot, and exposed hazel stretchers to eaves having exposed scallops. Limewashed rendered battered walls. Hipped square-headed off-central door opening with concealed dressings framing timber boarded or tongue-and-groove timber panelled half-door having sidelights. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills, and concealed dressings framing two-over-two timber sash windows having part exposed sash boxes. Set back from line or road in landscaped grounds with panelled monolithic piers to perimeter having rounded capping supporting looped wrought iron double gates.
