Detached four- or five-bay single-storey railway station, built 1884, on a rectangular plan; five-bay single-storey rear (north) elevation. Occupied, 1901; 1911. Burnt, 1923. Closed, 1963. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks having corbelled stepped stringcourses below capping supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta tapered pots, timber bargeboards to gables on timber purlins, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on exposed timber rafters. Rendered, ruled and lined walls. Square-headed off-central door opening with concealed dressings framing timber boarded door. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing two-over-two timber sash windows. Set in landscaped grounds.
