Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, extant 1922, on a rectangular plan with single-bay two-storey side elevations; three-bay single-storey lean-to return with half-dormer attic (east). Sold, 1978. Resold, 1990. Resold, 1992. Hipped slate roof extending into lean-to slate roof (east) centred on gablets to window openings to half-dormer attic, perforated crested terracotta ridge tiles extending into terracotta ridge tiles, paired rendered "wallhead" chimney stacks to rear (east) elevation having concrete capping supporting terracotta octagonal pots, central rooflight to rear (east) pitch, and replacement uPVC rainwater goods on timber eaves boards on exposed timber rafters. Part creeper- or ivy-covered rendered, ruled and lined walls. Hipped segmental-headed central door opening in segmental-headed recess with timber mullions on cut-granite padstones supporting "Cavetto" cornice, and concealed dressings having concave reveals framing timber panelled door having sidelight below fanlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing one-over-one timber sash windows. Interior including (ground floor): central hall retaining carved timber surrounds to door openings framing timber panelled doors, timber panelled staircase on a dog leg plan with turned timber balusters supporting carved timber banister terminating in turned timber newel, and carved timber surrounds to door openings to landing framing timber panelled doors; dining room (north) retaining carved timber surround to door opening framing timber panelled door, and moulded plasterwork cornice to ceiling; drawing room (south) retaining carved timber surround to door opening framing timber panelled door, and picture railing below moulded plasterwork cornice to ceiling; and carved timber surrounds to door openings to remainder framing timber panelled doors. Set in landscaped grounds with cast-iron chamfered piers to perimeter having finial-topped capping supporting cast-iron double gates.
