Terraced three-bay two-storey townhouse, extant 1882, on a rectangular plan; three-bay two-storey rear (south) elevation. Occupied, 1901; 1911. One of a terrace of four. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered panelled chimney stacks having corbelled stepped capping supporting yellow terracotta pots, and cast-iron rainwater goods on moulded rendered cornice retaining cast-iron octagonal or ogee hoppers and downpipes. Rendered wall (ground floor) on moulded cushion course on rendered plinth; rendered surface finish (first floor); rendered, ruled and lined surface finish to rear (south) elevation. Square-headed central door opening approached by flight of four cut-granite steps with rendered block-and-start surround centred on diamond pointed keystone framing timber panelled double doors having overlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills (ground floor) or cut-granite sill course (first floor), and rendered block-and-start surrounds centred on diamond pointed keystones framing one-over-one timber sash windows. Square-headed window openings to rear (south) elevation centred on square-headed window opening (landing) with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing one-over-one timber sash windows centred on replacement fixed-pane fitting. Interior including (ground floor): central vestibule retaining encaustic tiled floor; square-headed door opening into hall with glazed timber panelled door; hall retaining carved timber surrounds to door openings framing timber panelled doors; and carved timber surrounds to door openings to remainder framing timber panelled doors with timber panelled shutters to window openings. Set back from road in landscaped grounds with rendered octagonal piers to perimeter having polygonal capping supporting crocketed wrought iron gate.
