Red brick Flemish bond wall to front (east) elevation on cut-granite chamfered plinth with rusticated cut-granite quoins to corners; part creeper- or ivy-covered rendered, ruled and lined surface finish (remainder). Round- or segmental-headed central door opening approached by two cut-granite steps, timber doorcase with panelled pilasters supporting "Cyma Recta"- or "Cyma Reversa"-detailed cornice on entablature on "Acanthus"-detailed fluted consoles, and moulded rendered surround supporting red brick voussoirs centred on rusticated cut-granite keystone framing timber panelled door having overlight. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and red brick voussoirs centred on rusticated cut-granite keystones framing replacement two-over-two sash windows. Square-headed window openings to rear (west) elevation centred on square-headed window opening (half-landing) with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing replacement casement windows centred on one-over-one timber sash window. Interior including (ground floor): central hall retaining carved timber surrounds to door openings framing timber panelled doors, moulded plasterwork cornice to ceiling, staircase on a dog leg plan with turned timber balusters supporting carved timber banister terminating in turned timber newels, carved timber surround to window opening to half-landing, and carved timber surrounds to door openings to landing framing timber panelled doors: drawing room (south) retaining carved timber surround to door opening framing timber panelled door with carved timber surrounds to window openings framing timber panelled shutters on panelled risers, cut-veined white marble chimneypiece, and moulded plasterwork cornice to ceiling; dining room (north) retaining carved timber surround to door opening framing timber panelled door with carved timber surround to window opening framing timber panelled shutters on panelled risers, cut-white marble chimneypiece, and moulded plasterwork cornice to ceiling; and carved timber surrounds to door openings to remainder framing timber panelled doors with carved timber surrounds to window openings framing timber panelled shutters on panelled risers.
