Entrance gates serving Bellmont House, erected c.1840, comprising pair of ashlar limestone gate piers (on square plan with fluted frieze having floral motifs) with pyramidal moulded limestone coping over, supporting a pair of decorative cast-iron double-gates. Limestone wheel guards to base. Piers flanked to either side (east and west) by sections of rubble limestone walling on curved plan. Located to the northeast of Bellmont House (not in survey) and to the south of Kilbeggan.
