Detached three-bay two-storey house on L-shaped plan, built c.1820, having a four-bay two-storey return to the rear (north) at the west end and a later single-bay flat-roofed porch to the centre of the main façade (south), added c.1920. Lean-to extension to the rear at the northeast corner. Pitched natural slate roof with slightly overhanging eaves having a moulded rendered chimneystack with terracotta pots over to the centre of the main façade (south) and two moulded rendered chimneystacks with terracotta pots over to the rear return. Lime roughcast rendered finish over rubble stone construction. Moulded cornice to the flat-roofed porch. Square-headed window openings, diminishing in height to the eaves, having three-over-three pane timber sliding sash windows to the first floor and a mixture of six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows and modern replacement windows to the ground floor openings. Square-headed doorway to the west face of porch having a replacement door. Square-headed window openings to the front face of porch (south) having paired replacement windows and a square-headed opening to the east face of porch having a replacement window. Set back from road in extensive mature grounds with main entrance to the south. Complex of outbuildings to the rear (north). Located to the south of Churchtown.
