Single-arch hump-backed canal bridge carrying road over Royal Canal, built c.1806. Constructed of dressed limestone with ashlar limestone detailing including projecting string course at parapet base level/road level. Parapet walls constructed of brick with ashlar limestone coping over, brick voussoirs to arch. Cut stone pillars to ends of parapet walling. Bridge flanked by rubble limestone walls to north and south. Located in the west suburbs of Mullingar Town.
