What is recorded here

Screen gateway, built c.1820, associated with Newpass House (15400501). Comprises central pair of ashlar limestone gate piers (on square plan), with chamfered plinths to base and moulded ashlar limestone coping/capping over, supporting pair of wrought-iron gates. Central gateway flanked to north and south by flat sections of coursed limestone walling with wrought-iron railings over and then by further sections of limestone screen walling, on quadrant plan, having wrought-iron railings over, terminated by ashlar limestone piers to either end. Located to east of Newpass House at start of long entrance avenue. Remains of gate lodge (15400504) to immediate north.
