Detached two-bay single-storey former gate lodge, built c. 1850, no longer in use. Square-plan. Hipped slate roof, lead-capped ridge and hips, moulded stone corbelled eaves course on stone corbels. Rock-faced ashlar limestone walling to south elevation, random rubble stone walling to north and east, rock-faced block-and-start quoins to north-east corner, finely tooled chamfered limestone plinth; remains of stone gate pier attached to south-east corner. Round-headed tripartite window openings to south elevation, tooled limestone pilasters flank openings, tooled limestone archivolt, prominent keystones, tooled limestone sills, windows now blocked by corrugated-sheeting; segmental-headed window opening to north elevation, tooled limestone kneed-architrave, prominent keystone, stone sill, window missing. Round-headed door openings to north and south elevations, tooled ashlar limestone surround, curving reveals and soffits, prominent keystones, painted timber vertically-sheeted door to north elevation, fanlight missing, door to south now blocked by corrugated-sheeting. Street fronted, over-grown site to west and north-west.
