Gateway serving two-storey house (not in survey), erected c. 1860, comprising a pair of dressed ashlar limestone gate piers (on square-plan) and a pair of hooped wrought-iron flat bar gates. Sections of rubble limestone boundary wall to northwest and southeast sides of gateway. Set slightly back from road to the north of Ballymahon, and to south of associated house at start of long approach avenue.
