Gateway, dated 1860, comprising tooled cut-limestone screen incorporating round-headed carriageway with cut-limestone voussoirs, iron double gates, tooled cut-limestone dressings including buttresses, date stone, and bellcote to parapet (comprising round-headed aperture between cut-limestone piers with cast-iron bell, and cut-limestone voussoirs forming archivolt) having gabled flanking finials. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of the Catholic Church of the Assumption.
