Gateway, c.1850, comprising pair of cut-granite panelled piers with carved cornices supporting cut-granite capping, iron double gates having cast-iron finials, sections of iron flanking railings incorporating pedestrian gates, granite ashlar panelled outer piers with carved cornices supporting cut-granite capping, and random rubble limestone boundary wall to perimeter of site having cut-limestone coping. Set back from line of road at entrance to grounds of Ballaghtobin.
