Detached three-bay double-height single-cell Catholic church, built 1809, with single-bay single-storey gabled advanced confessional outshoots to east and to west, and single-bay single-storey sacristy to south. Extensively renovated, post-1965. Pitched slate roofs (gabled to confessional outshoots) with clay ridge tiles, and iron rainwater goods on slightly overhanging rendered eaves. Painted rendered walls with limestone ashlar corner piers to sacristy having cut-limestone stringcourses supporting profiled capping. Pointed-arch window openings with replacement concrete sills, post-1965, and replacement fixed-pane timber windows, post-1965, having leaded stained glass panels. Pointed-arch door opening with tongue-and-groove timber panelled double doors. Full-height interior renovated, post-1965, with timber pews, Gothic-style altar furniture on raised chancel, and diagonal tongue-and-groove timber panelled compartmentalised ceiling. Set back from road in own grounds with painted rendered panelled piers having shallow pyramidal capping, iron double gates, painted rendered curved (serpentine) flanking walls having rendered coping, and painted rendered panelled outer piers having shallow pyramidal capping.
