Gateway, c.1800, comprising round-headed carriageway with tooled limestone ashlar piers having cut-limestone stringcourse to spring of arch, limestone ashlar voussoirs, and tooled limestone ashlar parapet having remains of carved cut-limestone cornice supporting ivy-clad blocking course. Set back from road in grounds shared with Sheastown House.
