Gateway, c.1800, comprising pair of limestone ashlar piers with stringcourses supporting inscribed friezes, cut-limestone capping, cut-granite piers forming flanking pedestrian gateway having iron turnstile, random rubble limestone curved flanking walls having cut-limestone coping leading to limestone ashlar outer piers having cut-limestone capping, and random rubble limestone boundary wall to perimeter of site. Road fronted at entrance to grounds of Dunmore Cottage.
