What is recorded here

On S bank of Blackwater River, to rear of house. Fragmentary remains of mill, probably of 2 storeys, 3 bays wide and 2 bays deep, burnt down in mid-20th century; of random-rubble construction. The wooden axle of the composite-high-breast or pitch-back wheel (14ft x 5ft), which had 8 arms, remains.
