The Battle of Stoke Field was fought in 1487 between the forces of King Henry VII and a Yorkist rebellion led by Lambert Simnel, a boy impersonating Edward, Earl of Warwick. The Yorkist forces were defeated, securing Henry VII's reign and marking a significant step in ending the Wars of the Roses.
