Beannan Mòr is a prominent peak in the Scottish Outer Hebrides, rising to approximately 431 metres. It is composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rock formations in the British Isles. The mountain is significant as a key geographical feature in the landscape of the Western Isles and is used as a reference point in local navigation and land use.
