The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Viking burial mound, 8th–11th century AD, containing grave goods indicative of Norse settlement in the Western Isles. The site reflects the cultural and military aspects of Viking presence in Scotland.
