What is recorded here

Indicated is a forgotten field system on a remote Clare terrace where bare rock and scree still mark the edges of ancient ownership. Its long enclosures stretch across a south-facing slope, holding medieval life and perhaps older hands that shaped the land before records began. The stones remain quiet, but they preserve the shape of every person who herded, planted or prayed there.

Situated in a remote level terrace on a S-facing slope with bare rock outcrop and scree upslope to N and downslope to S. A field system (c. 400m E-W; 200m N-S) with a number of enclosures visible on Digital Globe (2011-13) that likely contains medieval and possibly prehistoric elements.
