Enclosure

What is recorded here

Situated on a small, level plateau on the SW slopes of Gleninagh Mountain. Listed as ‘Enclosure complex’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). An enclosure is marked on Tim Robinson's map of the Burren (1977). On inspection in 1997 this was found to be a small subrectangular field (26m E-W; 28m N-S) in poor condition defined by a single drystone wall. There are a small number of other fields in association. Compiled by: Mary Tunney Date of upload: 30 November 2015
