What is recorded here

Located on a S and W-facing slope with a ravine (Wth c. 50m; D c. 5m) c. 10m to the W separating it from an area with three passage tombs and a portal tomb. Archaeological monitoring (05E1402) revealed an arc (L 10.5m) of a flat-bottomed trench (Wth of top 0.4-0.7m; D 0.25-0.35m) curving SE-SW which contained three layers of silty clay, the bottommost of which contained charcoal inclusions and some struck flints. It was completely excavated (int. diam. 12m E-W; 11m N-S) under the same licence and is probably the remains of a barrow.
