What is recorded here

Mullaghbane in County Fermanagh holds a rath from the early Christian period, marked on the official map as a scheduled archaeological site. The earthwork still stands where human hands shaped it, perhaps enclosing a home, a shrine or a boundary for a small community. Its survival suggests the place mattered enough to be remembered, even when the names of its people faded from local speech.
