Cropmark of fosse of circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) visible in aerial photograph (CASAP, July 1989), immediately E of natural depression and site of lime kiln shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Small circular cropmark, possibly indicating house site, in NW quadrant; possible entrance to NE. Linear cropmarks at right angles to each other in NE quadrant may be corner of field within field system (12019). One of a complex of five enclosures (12800,13636,13791,13695) within field system (12019).
