Mound in Churchfield

Mound

Why this matters

A local ancient tomb; wider significance not recorded.

What is recorded here

There is a record (ITA Survey 1944) of a mound with some stones protruding from it at the NE angle of Coolkill church (LE024-024001-). This was probably cairn material from the walls and is no longer present. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 13 January, 2017
