No visible mound remains, yet the Bronze Age urn and barrow claim still belong to Drumnakeel. The survey marker floats above ordinary ground, refusing to show the pit, wood or bone that once occupied it. Forgetting has not erased the death; it has only removed the shape that made the death visible.
