What is recorded here

Mundole stands in Moray as a possible medieval tower house, though it later became a working farmstead with a horse mill and sprawling courtyard. The busy steading has mostly vanished, leaving only the altered farmhouse beside Riverview Country Park. That much of the structure disappeared suggests people valued living space more than preserving the old tower shape.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Mundole as Tower House (medieval)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
