What is recorded here

Craigmill stands in Moray as a medieval castle, its stones buried under grass and time. No tower remains visible, only the land remembering the shape of walls that once watched the valley. Perhaps it guarded a crossing, perhaps it fell into forgetfulness before records began. Either way, the hill kept its name while human pride faded.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Craigmill as Castle (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
