Inidcated is a fairy fort in County Mayo, an earthen ring where human history has thinned to myth. Its name resists understanding, suggesting a place that hides rather than reveals. The soil may have swallowed ordinary lives until the stories turned the residents into fairies, erasing the evidence but preserving the wonder.
