What is recorded here
On opposite sides of the road from Tully to Salrock. Two small black circles are indicated on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map, c. 250m apart, on S verge of, and slightly to N of, this road. No visible surface trace of either survives. The sites of four other possible ways cairns (GA010-047----; GA010-042----; GA010-044----; GA010-045----) are known along this road. They may have been penitential stations or coffin-halts on the way to the ecclesiastical remains at Salrock (GA010-008001-).
