The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 The 1938-39 'OS 6-inch' map shows NE and adjacent portions of NW and SE sides of rectangular enclosure (max. L of NE side c. 70m) situated on top of ridge. No visible surface traces. Probably a moated site.
